Savannah James Invests in Los Angeles Pro Volleyball Team
LeBron James' wife joins ownership of LOVB's new LA franchise, daughter Zhuri also involved with the league.
Savannah James, wife of NBA star LeBron James, has officially become an investor in the new Los Angeles team for the League of Volleyball (LOVB). This investment signifies her continued connection to the California sports scene, even after LeBron's departure from the Lakers.
The James family has a pre-existing relationship with LOVB. Their daughter, Zhuri, who is an avid volleyball player and fan, participated in the LOVB Championship in Long Beach in April by delivering a ceremonial first serve. Sources suggest Zhuri's involvement was a factor in Savannah's investment decision.
Savannah James marked the occasion by posting videos on her Instagram Story of herself and Zhuri dancing. The pair were seen in matching black outfits, with one caption reading, "As long as she’s asking, I’ll be doing all the ticky toks." The posts captured a moment of celebration following the investment news.
This new venture adds to Savannah James' ties to the Los Angeles area. She recently celebrated her 40th birthday in California. With Zhuri expected to remain in the state for high school and LeBron's son Bronny still with the Lakers, Savannah has multiple reasons to maintain a strong presence in California.
