Savannah Guthrie issued a fresh plea to the individuals who kidnapped her mother, Nancy Guthrie, urging them to "do the right thing" and help end the family's prolonged distress.

In a video posted to Instagram on Monday, the "Today" show host described her family's ongoing anguish, stating they are living through "a nightmare that will not end." The appeal marked her first public statement on the matter since June 23.

"We have done our part and we will never stop looking for her. We will always ache for her, feel that hole in our hearts," Guthrie said in the video, addressing the captors directly. "The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place and I know that you have tried to do things the right way, so I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now."

She implored them to "make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her." Guthrie added, "I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing. Help us bring this situation to an end. For all of us — no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done — I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice."

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her Tucson, Arizona, home on Jan. 31. The FBI released security camera footage at the time showing an armed and masked individual outside her door on the night she disappeared. The family has reportedly received multiple ransom notes.

Despite ongoing investigations and earlier reports that authorities were closing in on a suspect, no arrests have been made in connection with the kidnapping.

Guthrie, 54, returned to her role on "Today" in April, continuing her work while her mother remained missing.

The caption on her Instagram post read, "bring her home 💛."
