Savannah Guthrie has renewed her plea for public assistance in the case of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who was kidnapped in January.
Speaking on NBC's Today show on June 23, Guthrie revealed that a note sent to the media in February falsely claimed her mother had died. She described the agonizing wait for information, stating, "Somebody knows something. We are in agony."
This note was one of two that were sent to news organizations in the days following Nancy Guthrie's abduction. The details emerged as the family continues to seek answers and work towards her safe return.
