Savannah Chrisley's Fiancé Identified as Convicted Fraudster Jason Galanis, Pardoned by Trump
Galanis, who was sentenced for multimillion-dollar fraud schemes, was among those whose prison sentences were commuted by former President Donald Trump.
Savannah Chrisley's fiancé has been identified as Jason Galanis, a convicted fraudster whose prison sentence was commuted by former President Donald Trump last year. Galanis, 56, was sentenced in 2020 to over 15 years for his involvement in two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes that defrauded shareholders and misappropriated funds intended for tribal economic development projects.
Chrisley, 29, announced her engagement and pregnancy on Instagram, referring to her fiancé initially as 'J' and later by his first name. Us Weekly confirmed his identity as Galanis, who is 27 years her senior. Galanis is a former associate of Hunter Biden and testified from behind bars in March 2024 during the Republican impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Trump commuted Galanis's sentence in March 2025 without specifying a reason.
Chrisley shared on her podcast that she met Galanis through "the world of politics" last year while seeking a presidential pardon for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who are serving prison sentences for tax fraud. Galanis reportedly reached out to Chrisley to congratulate her after her parents' pardon was granted in May 2025. The couple began dating in July 2025 and became engaged in December of that year.
Chrisley described Galanis as her "protector, fiercest fighter and safe place," praising his patience and noting that she feels safe with him. She also expressed her joy at watching him interact with their unborn child, stating it made her fall in love with him in a new way. Despite their age difference, Chrisley stated she does not mind, emphasizing their connection and the happiness he brings her.
Galanis was previously seen with Chrisley and her parents at Mar-a-Lago in a photograph shared by author Angela Stanton King in April. Chrisley alluded to past heartbreak, writing on Instagram that she had "prayed for this life" and "cried for this life," and that Galanis helped heal parts of her that were broken by previous experiences.
