Savannah Chrisley Responds to Criticism Amid Personal Revelations
The reality star shared a message of faith and resilience on social media following news of her engagement, secret marriage, and pregnancy.
Savannah Chrisley addressed public scrutiny following a week of significant personal announcements, sharing a message about the world's "cruelty" and the importance of faith.
In an Instagram Story post on Saturday, Chrisley, 29, described the past week as a "whirlwind" and reflected on the harshness of public judgment. Her comments came after a series of revelations: on Tuesday, she announced her engagement and pregnancy; it was subsequently revealed her fiancé is 56-year-old convicted fraudster Jason Galanis; and it was later uncovered that she and Galanis were secretly married on July 14 in the Cayman Islands.
Chrisley posted from the Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, writing, "People can be quick to judge, quick to condemn, and slow to show grace." She emphasized her faith, stating, "The world may try to steal your peace, but it can never take away what God has promised you." She added that one does not need to defend what God has ordained and that trusting in faith is paramount, especially during difficult times.
"My heart is full. My blessings are immeasurable. And my faith is stronger than any storm this world could ever bring," Chrisley wrote. "Because at the end of the day, hate will never have the final word. JESUS WILL. And LOVE ALWAYS WINS."
Galanis, an associate of Hunter Biden, was sentenced in September 2020 to over 14 years in prison for his involvement in fraud schemes that cost a Native American tribe and investors tens of millions of dollars. His prison sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in March 2025. Chrisley has publicly defended Galanis, calling him her "protector" and "most loyal person."
Earlier, on her "Unlocked" podcast, Chrisley also addressed the significant age difference between her and Galanis, stating she disregarded the criticism.
