Savannah Chrisley Expecting First Child, Engaged to Mystery Man Met Through Politics
The former reality star announced her pregnancy and engagement to Jason, a man she met while seeking a presidential pardon for her parents.
Savannah Chrisley, 29, announced Tuesday that she is pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend, Jason, whom she met through the political sphere. The news was shared via Instagram with a montage of photos and videos, including sonogram images and the couple cradling her baby bump.
In a lengthy caption, Chrisley expressed gratitude for the life she has now, referencing past struggles. "The past few years have taken me through fires I never imagined I’d have to walk through," she wrote. "Seasons of heartbreak, loss and moments when I didn’t know if I would ever make it to the other side."
She described Jason as her "protector, fiercest fighter and safe place" and praised his patience. "For the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I feel fulfilled. I can finally exhale. I found my forever in you," she stated. Chrisley added that seeing how Jason "already loves and protects" their baby has deepened her love for him. "I thank God every day that this baby gets to call you daddy," she continued.
Chrisley revealed in a recent episode of her podcast, "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley," that she met Jason while seeking a presidential pardon for her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. Her parents were sentenced in 2022 to 12 and seven years in prison, respectively, for a $30 million tax fraud scheme. After the pardon was granted in May 2025, Jason reached out to congratulate her.
The couple began dating in July 2025 and became engaged in December of the same year during a vacation in the Cayman Islands. Chrisley acknowledged a "huge" age gap between them but stated she would "rather 20 phenomenal years with someone than 50 meh years with someone."
She concluded her announcement by offering encouragement to others in a "waiting season," advising them not to "mistake God's silence for absence." "Sometimes he’s writing the most beautiful chapters of your story while you’re still trying to make sense of the ones that broke your heart," she said. "From heartbreak to healing. From surviving to living. From praying for my forever to building a family with him."
