Savannah Chrisley has publicly addressed backlash regarding her relationship with fiancé Jason Galanis by posting a selfie with him on her Instagram Stories. The "Growing Up Chrisley" star, 29, captioned the photo, "My forever adventure partner," accompanied by a heart emoji.

This public display comes shortly after Chrisley announced her engagement and pregnancy. While she initially kept her fiancé's identity private, she revealed his first name, Galanis, and alluded to a significant age difference and a meeting in "the world of politics." Chrisley has defended the age gap, stating that Galanis "does not look his age, nor does he act his age," praising his physical appearance and sharp intellect.

Later reports identified the fiancé as Jason Galanis, a convicted fraudster who served time in federal prison alongside Chrisley's father, Todd Chrisley. Todd Chrisley was incarcerated for conspiracy to defraud banks and tax evasion, while Galanis was convicted of defrauding a Native American tribe and investors of tens of millions of dollars. Both men received pardons from President Donald Trump. Galanis was sentenced to over 14 years in prison and ordered to forfeit approximately $80 million.

Chrisley, who has become involved in criminal justice reform advocacy, has not detailed how she and Galanis initially met. The couple has been together since 2025, with Galanis proposing in December of that year. They are expecting their first child in January and plan to marry in May. Chrisley previously addressed the situation by writing to her unborn child on Instagram Stories, stating, "You are not a controversy."
