Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis Secretly Married in July

Savannah Chrisley and Jason Galanis were married on July 14 at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church, according to marriage records obtained by People. The ceremony took place three months before Chrisley publicly announced her engagement and pregnancy in an Instagram video.

In her October announcement, Chrisley, 29, referred to her fiancé only as "J," describing him as "much older." He was later identified as Galanis, 56. Galanis is a convicted fraudster who received a prison sentence of more than 14 years in September 2020 for his role in defrauding a Native American tribe and investors out of tens of millions of dollars. He was also ordered to forfeit approximately $80 million in proceeds and pay an equal amount in restitution.

Galanis, an associate of Hunter Biden, testified in March 2024 during the impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden while still incarcerated. President Donald Trump commuted Galanis' prison sentence in March 2025, absolving him of remaining prison time and financial penalties, though the White House did not specify the rationale for the clemency.

Chrisley's public announcement of her engagement and pregnancy occurred in October, after the couple had already been married for three months. At that time, she did not reveal that they had already tied the knot.
