Sass Jordan, the Canadian rock singer best known for her 1992 hit "Make You A Believer," has died at the age of 63. Her family announced her passing on Saturday, October 2, 2026, stating that she died peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
"She remains in our hearts, an inimitable force of nature. An irreplaceable being of light and joy!" her family wrote in a statement shared online.
Jordan was born in Birmingham, England, on December 23, 1962, and later resided in Montreal. She launched her music career with her debut album "Tell Somebody" in 1989, which earned her a Juno Award for Most Promising Female Vocalist of the Year.
A cause of death has not yet been publicly disclosed.
