Sarah Michelle Gellar's Son Rocky Draws Comparisons to Father Freddie Prinze Jr.

Sarah Michelle Gellar recently shared photos of her 14-year-old son, Rocky, prompting comments from fans who noted his strong resemblance to his father, actor Freddie Prinze Jr. The images, posted to Gellar's Instagram account, were taken during a go-kart race attended by the family over the weekend.

Fans took to the comment section to remark on the likeness, with some jokingly suggesting Gellar's genes were not as prominent. One user wrote, "Ma'am you were just an incubator. That is alllll Freddie," while another commented, "Not the mini Freddie omg."

Gellar, 49, and Prinze Jr., 50, have been married for 24 years and also have a 17-year-old daughter, Charlotte. Earlier this year, Gellar posted photos of Rocky for his 14th birthday, where the resemblance to his father was also noted. At the time, Gellar wrote about her son's speedy arrival into their lives and how she felt lucky to watch him chase his dreams.

In April, Gellar commemorated her 24th wedding anniversary by sharing throwback photos from the early days of her relationship with Prinze Jr. The couple met on the set of the 1997 film "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and became friends before dating for two years. They married in 2002.

Prinze Jr. has previously spoken about their early relationship, telling Access Hollywood that they were friends for several years before their first date. He recounted how their initial outing as a couple was just the two of them after other friends canceled. The couple dated for a few years before Prinze Jr. proposed in 2001. Gellar has stated that she preferred a private proposal.

The couple, who also starred together in the "Scooby-Doo" films and voiced characters in "Happily N'Ever After," welcomed Charlotte in 2009 and Rocky in 2012.
