James Wilkie Broderick, the 23-year-old son of actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, was recently seen after a gym session in New York City, continuing to build his career in the arts. Broderick, who is a graduate of Brown University, has recently ventured into modeling and is also performing in a New York theater production.
Last month, Broderick made his modeling debut with a photo shoot. He is currently starring in the off-Broadway play "This Lime Tree Bower," a dark drama adapted by Christopher Ryan from Conor McPherson's 1995 work. The play, which runs through August 1 at Quick Eternity in Lower Manhattan, features Broderick as an Irishman named Joe. He previously had a guest-star role as Carl in an episode of the CBS crime series "Elsbeth," appearing alongside his father.
Parker and Broderick, who have been married for 29 years, have expressed their philosophy on raising their children. They aim for their children to pursue challenging and rewarding endeavors that enable them to become self-sufficient. Parker stated that she hopes her children will feel they have choices and are not limited to a single path.
The couple, who also have 17-year-old twins Tabitha Hodge and Loretta Elwell, have a reported combined fortune of $245 million. Parker is set to reprise her role as Sarah Sanderson in "Hocus Pocus 3," while Matthew Broderick has several upcoming film projects.
