Sandra Bullock offered a glimpse into her personal life with a recent Instagram post, sharing a collection of summer photos that included rare images of her two adopted children, Louis and Laila. The actress, who has largely kept her children out of the public eye, posted the carousel on Tuesday.

In the images, Bullock's son Louis, 16, and daughter Laila, 12, were featured, though their faces were often obscured by emojis or they were shown from behind. The post also included snapshots of Bullock with close friends, including actor Jason Bateman, and a poignant image of her visiting her parents' graves. She captioned the post, "Friends, family, fun, fishies, furries, aaaand work."

Bullock adopted Louis in 2010 and Laila in 2015. She previously shared throwback photos of her children in honor of Father's Day, including images of her late father holding them when they were younger. She also posted photos for Mother's Day, referring to motherhood as "the honor of a lifetime."

In March 2022, Bullock announced an indefinite hiatus from acting, stating her intention to spend more time with her family. She told Entertainment Tonight at the time that she wanted to be "24/7 with my babies and my family." She added that during her break, she looked forward to "servicing their every need" and managing "their social calendar."

Bullock raised her children with her late partner, Bryan Randall, who died in August 2023 after a private battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Randall also had a daughter, Skylar Staten Randall, from a previous relationship.

Bullock is expected to return to the screen in "Practical Magic 2," reprising her role as Sally Owens alongside Nicole Kidman. She marked her Instagram debut with a post that teased the upcoming sequel.
