Sam Wood's Alleged Double Life and Marriage Troubles Emerge Amidst Drug Allegations
Rumors of drug use and parties circulated for years before allegations surfaced in court, reportedly contributing to the end of Wood's marriage.
Allegations surrounding the private life of Sam Wood, including claims of drug use and a party lifestyle, have surfaced years after rumors began circulating. These revelations emerged during a Supreme Court bail hearing where Wood's lawyer reportedly raised the allegations, stating that his marriage to Snezana was expected to end.
Sources familiar with Melbourne's party scene have spoken out, suggesting Wood allegedly utilized a discreet drug delivery network serving affluent clients in areas such as Toorak, Brighton, and South Yarra. One source described Wood as frequently partying without his wife, Snezana, stating, "He'd have drinks with the boys and then get on it."
For an extended period, Wood maintained an image of a clean-cut family man, a public persona that made reporting on potential scandals difficult due to defamation risks. However, this image was reportedly challenged in a Queensland court on Friday. Wood was arrested following an incident on October 3, when his stepdaughter, Eve Markoski-Wood, 21, contacted police alleging he had harmed her mother at a luxury holiday apartment in Noosa.
Snezana was observed without her wedding ring prior to Wood's court hearing. She was seen dressed casually in a black jumper and leggings, wearing a yellow baseball cap and sneakers, as she walked her two young daughters to school.
The allegations paint a picture of a double life, contrasting with Wood's public image and reportedly leading to the dissolution of his marriage.
