Former NRL player Sam Burgess and his wife Lucy are expecting their third child together. Lucy Burgess announced the pregnancy on Instagram Tuesday, sharing a video of herself with her family, including Sam and their two children.
In the video, Lucy, 33, displayed her baby bump as family members placed daisies on her abdomen. A clip also showed Sam, 37, embracing his wife. "One more to love," Lucy captioned the post, adding that the baby is due on January 27.
The announcement comes less than a year after the couple welcomed their second child, Mack, in October last year. They also have a daughter, Robbie, born in September 2023. The couple became engaged in June 2023 and went public with their relationship nine months earlier.
Sam Burgess also has two children, Poppy, seven, and Billy, five, from his previous marriage to Phoebe Burgess. The couple divorced in 2019 after four years of marriage.
