Briony Aston, wife of Coronation Street actor Sam Aston, showcased her baby bump at the "Mum & Me" parenting event held in Cheshire on Monday. The couple, who are expecting their fourth child, are anticipating the arrival of their new family member in the coming months.

Briony, who is a birth doula, attended the event in a red gingham summer dress that highlighted her pregnancy. She paired the dress with tan ankle boots and carried a red sweater. Sam Aston, known for his role as Chesney Brown, opted for a casual black t-shirt and jeans for the outing.

The "Mum & Me" event drew several other soap stars, including Emmerdale's Amy Walsh and Isabel Hodgins, who were seen pushing matching prams. Hollyoaks actress Jessamy Stoddart and Coronation Street's Sonia Ibrahim also attended with their children. Joanne Clifton, a former Strictly Come Dancing star, was also present, appearing as an excited expectant mother.

The pregnancy was announced in May through a social media post featuring the couple's three other children: son Sonny, five, and daughters Daisy, four, and Hazel, two. The announcement included ultrasound pictures of the unborn baby, with the caption "Here we go again... Baby Aston #4." A Christmas tree emoji suggested a festive due date.

Briony Aston has stated that she will be scaling back her birth doula services in the lead-up to her own delivery, citing the impracticality of attending births with a large baby bump and the need to prepare for her own childbirth experience.

The couple married in May 2019. Their first child, Sonny, was born six weeks premature in 2020 and spent nine days in the hospital recovering from jaundice, an experience Sam Aston described as a shock but ultimately worthwhile.
