Sam and Snezana Wood Sought Marriage Counseling Amid Relationship Tensions
Former 'The Bachelor' star Sam Wood and wife Snezana discussed relationship pressures, including discipline of stepdaughter Eve, in a resurfaced interview prior to domestic violence charges.
Sam Wood, a former star of 'The Bachelor,' and his wife Snezana sought marriage counseling to navigate a "pressure cooker environment" within their relationship, according to a resurfaced interview. Tensions reportedly stemmed from disagreements over how to discipline Snezana's eldest daughter, Eve.
Wood admitted in April of the previous year that he and Snezana were seeing a therapist to address their relationship issues. He characterized their home life as a "pressure cooker environment," highlighting the strain caused by these disagreements. Snezana welcomed Eve in 2005 with her ex-husband, Jason Rapoff. The rift between Eve and Rapoff reportedly began before Snezana and Eve relocated to Melbourne to start a new life with Wood.
Wood attributed the escalating tensions to Eve being a "challenging" teenager, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Snezana and Sam Wood, who met on 'The Bachelor' in 2015, publicly addressed allegations of domestic violence together on Monday morning. The couple appeared to be experiencing a tense moment in February 2024.
The resurfaced interview comes in the wake of neighbors at a luxury holiday villa in Noosa recalling frantic moments when emergency services arrived. Wood was arrested at the $3,000-a-night property over alleged domestic violence offenses.
