Salma Hayek's Daughter Tops 'Most Eligible' List, Prefers London Pubs

Valentina Pinault, the 19-year-old daughter of actress Salma Hayek and luxury group chairman François-Henri Pinault, has been recognized on Tatler's list of Britain's "200 most eligible" individuals. Pinault, who is studying digital media and culture at King's College London, shared her appreciation for London's pub culture and even Ikea in an interview with the magazine.

Despite her parents' significant net worth, estimated at $7.2 billion, Pinault expressed a preference for less extravagant venues, such as the nightclub Fabric or the underground club night Lost, over upscale Chelsea bars and members' clubs.

"I think the culture in London is my favourite thing in the world. I love pub culture," Pinault told Tatler. "I love British humour, just little things like that, that you can't really find anywhere else."

When discussing her beverage preferences, Pinault identified herself as a "chugger" rather than a "martini or champagne girl," opting for vodka.

Pinault, whose father is the chairman of Kering, a group that owns fashion brands like Gucci and Saint Laurent, also reflected on growing up with public figures as parents. She stated that this experience has shaped her approach to social media, leading her to limit the personal information she shares to avoid excessive public scrutiny and commentary.

Pinault has made occasional public appearances with her mother, including the Serpentine Gallery summer party. In 2022, she made her Vogue cover debut alongside Hayek for the publication's Mexican edition.

In previous interviews, Pinault has expressed aspirations of becoming an actress and director, mirroring her mother's career path. She has also emphasized the importance of contributing to societal issues, volunteering at a soup kitchen and expressing concern about homelessness due to personal connections.

Pinault shares a close relationship with her mother, with Hayek noting that her daughter often borrows from her closet and has a talent for makeup. The two also share a fluency in Spanish, which they use to communicate privately in public settings.

The 19-year-old shares the number one spot in this year's Little Black Book alongside rugby's golden boy Henry Pollock

Pinault shares the top spot on Tatler's list with Henry Pollock, a rugby player.

The full feature on Valentina Pinault is available in the December issue of Tatler.
