Salma Hayek has embraced a new role as a grandmother following the birth of her stepson François Pinault Jr.'s first child earlier this month. The actress announced the happy occasion on Sunday via Instagram, sharing a video of herself holding her newborn grandson.
"We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois’,” Hayek captioned the clip, adding that she will call the baby “Panchito.” The child is the son of Pinault Jr., 38, and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, 23.
Henckel von Donnersmarck also shared photos of the new family on Instagram, showcasing moments with her son and husband. In one image, she is seen lying on a picnic blanket with her son, while another depicts Pinault Jr. feeding the infant and on diaper duty. "my husband (the world’s coolest françois) … and our son ( the world’s cutest françois) … our first month as parents🐣,” she wrote.
It is unclear when Pinault Jr. and Henckel von Donnersmarck were married, though she announced their engagement in March after a year of dating. Hayek married François-Henri Pinault, 64, in 2009. They share a 18-year-old daughter, Valentina. Pinault also has two other children from previous relationships: Mathilde, 25, and Augustin, 19.
