Salesforce is eliminating dozens of jobs at its San Francisco headquarters, marking the company's fourth round of layoffs in less than a year. The cuts, which are scheduled for October 5 at the company's 415 Mission Street office, will affect 37 technology and product positions, 34 administrative roles, and three sales and distribution jobs, according to a notice filed with state officials.

While the company has not specified the exact teams or reasons for these reductions, the layoffs occur as Salesforce emphasizes artificial intelligence as a core growth strategy. This approach is being implemented alongside strong financial performance, with the company reporting $11.1 billion in revenue for the quarter ending April 30, as detailed in its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results.

Salesforce's first-quarter financial statements also indicated $80 million in restructuring expenses. This latest reduction follows previous layoff rounds in September 2025, which affected 262 jobs, and further cuts in February and June of the same year.

The company did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding the specific reasons for the layoffs or the possibility of further reductions at other Salesforce locations.
