Ryan Seacrest Shares a Peek Inside His Freezer, Revealing a Diet of Ice Cream and Lean Protein
The television host showcased his unusual dietary staples, drawing attention just weeks after a shirtless photo revealed his toned physique.
Television personality Ryan Seacrest recently offered his followers an intimate look into his dietary habits by sharing a photograph of his open freezer.
The 51-year-old, who had previously garnered significant attention for a shirtless image showcasing his muscular physique, revealed a freezer stocked predominantly with ice cream pints, alongside plastic-wrapped portions of chicken and fish. Notable exceptions included a box of microwaveable jasmine rice and a box of popsicles.
Among Seacrest's chosen ice cream brands were Cosmic Bliss, which offers both dairy and plant-based varieties, and the premium brand Jeni's. He also featured several pints from Cado, an avocado-based ice cream line, specifically highlighting the 'high five candy bar' and 'choco peanut butter' flavors. His preferred popsicles were from Jonny Pops, a brand that emphasizes products free from artificial dyes.
"My preferred food groups are protein and ice cream," Seacrest captioned the image for his over six million Instagram followers.
During his SiriusXM radio show, Seacrest presented the photo, prompting co-host Sisonie to comment on his "dude freezer." Sisonie and Tanya Red noted the substantial quantity of ice cream, with Sisonie counting approximately 13 pints.
This revelation about Seacrest's diet follows a period of public discussion regarding his physical appearance. Less than three weeks prior to the freezer reveal, Seacrest posted a shirtless photo from the beach, accompanied by the caption, "This is what a day off looks like from start to finish. Go dawgs," referencing his alma mater, the University of Georgia's football team. The image prompted a range of reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, including a joking comment from Diplo and an approving remark from "Dancing with the Stars" professional Gleb Savchenko.
Earlier in the year, in January, viewers had expressed concern over Seacrest's perceived gaunt appearance during an episode of "Wheel of Fortune." Social media users commented on his altered look, with reactions ranging from surprise to speculation about his well-being.
In May, Seacrest's complexion drew further online speculation when he attended a charity event in Los Angeles. Comments at the time focused on his facial appearance, with some users questioning natural aging processes and others expressing discomfort.
Seacrest is pictured onstage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas last month, speaking during the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
