Ryan Seacrest Fuels Dating Rumors with Cryptic 'RSB' Comment
The 'American Idol' host's ambiguous remark comes after reports of a serious romance with a Dutch model and a viral shirtless photo.
Ryan Seacrest has deepened the mystery surrounding his current relationship status with an oblique comment about his love life.
Seacrest, 51, was recently reported to be in a serious relationship with Dutch model Maxime Nova, 34. However, he addressed the topic on his Sirius XM show, "On Air with Ryan Seacrest," by explaining he is currently engaging in "RSB," which he defined as "recently single behavior."
He told his co-hosts that "you can spot this stuff," giving the example of someone changing their hair color. Seacrest then cryptically added, "I have RSB, but I didn't SB," to which his co-host asked if they were sure, prompting him to muse, "Hmmm...no."
These comments followed a widely circulated shirtless photograph Seacrest posted to Instagram three weeks prior. The "American Idol" host shared the image from a beach, writing, "This is what a day off looks like from start to finish. Go dawgs," referencing his alma mater, the University of Georgia's football team.
The photo drew significant attention in the comments section, with celebrities like Diplo and Gleb Savchenko reacting to his physique.
This January, Seacrest's appearance on "Wheel of Fortune" had previously raised concerns among viewers. Fans commented on social media about his gaunt look, with some expressing surprise at his changed appearance.
In March, he quipped on "Wheel of Fortune" that he was "lonely" as the only single person on stage and joked about the possibility of finding a date on Tinder.
However, by August, a source claimed to Page Six that Seacrest was "completely besotted" with Nova and that the feeling was mutual, suggesting the relationship had become "very serious in a short space of time."
Seacrest's last confirmed long-term relationship was with model Aubrey Paige, 28. He confirmed their mutual decision to part ways in April 2024 after three years together. A source told People at the time that they intended to "stay in each other's lives as good friends and support one another's endeavors."
Rumors of their split had surfaced the previous December when Paige did not include Seacrest in her family Christmas photos. She also did not publicly wish him a happy birthday on Christmas Eve.
Prior to his relationship with Paige, Seacrest had an on-again, off-again relationship with model Shayna Taylor. From 2010 to 2013, he was romantically involved with "Dancing with the Stars" professional Julianne Hough. Seacrest has never been married.
