Ryan Reynolds was observed on a subdued outing in Connecticut on Friday, a sighting that comes shortly after reports indicated he and his wife, Blake Lively, did not receive an invitation to Taylor Swift's recent New York City wedding.

The couple's absence from Swift's nuptials has drawn attention, particularly given Lively and Swift's previously reported close friendship. Sources have indicated that Lively felt excluded and was significantly disappointed by the perceived snub, with one insider telling the Daily Mail that the friendship, which had already been strained, was likely over.

Lively and Reynolds were reportedly 300 miles away in Lake Placid, New York, at the time of Swift's wedding on July 3. The ceremony, held at Madison Square Garden, was attended by approximately 1,000 guests, including notable figures such as Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Hugh Grant. Swift's publicist confirmed that the bride and groom wore Christian Dior Haute Couture and that her brother, Austin Swift, served as Man of Honor, while Jason Kelce was Best Man for Travis Kelce. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

This period also marks a time of renewed public statements from actor Justin Baldoni regarding a settled lawsuit involving Lively. Earlier in July, Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, addressed the legal matter in an Instagram video, breaking a nearly two-year silence. They accused Lively of causing them emotional pain through what they described as untruthful claims. The couple stated that they had allowed the justice system to conclude its proceedings and that the truth had become evident. Emily Baldoni further commented that their family had experienced significant trauma, making it difficult to speak on the matter until now.

Lively had requested that Baldoni pay her $8.3 million in legal fees following the lawsuit's resolution in May. Attorneys for Baldoni characterized this request as an attempt to claim an "exorbitant" and "excessive" amount.

The Baldonis expressed gratitude for the support they received during the legal battle and indicated that their family is still in a healing process, with plans to share more details at a later time. They are currently focusing on their family and enjoying life.
