Ruth Langsford, the 66-year-old television personality, was a guest at Wimbledon on Wednesday, accompanied by Niall Holmes, the 32-year-old son of her former partner Eamonn Holmes. Langsford, dressed in a green suit, posed for photographs with Niall at the event.

Niall is the youngest of Eamonn Holmes' three children from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes. Reports indicate a significant rift between Niall and his father following Eamonn Holmes' separation from Langsford. Sources claim Niall has sided with Langsford in the dispute. Prior to their split, Niall had worked with the couple on securing endorsement and appearance deals.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who share a 24-year-old son, Jack, announced their separation in May 2024. The couple had been together for 27 years, with 14 years of marriage. Insiders reported a major disagreement between Eamonn Holmes and his son Niall more than a year ago, after which they reportedly ceased speaking. Niall is said to be very fond of Langsford.

The couple first met in 1997, introduced by a mutual friend. Eamonn Holmes had separated from his first wife, Gabrielle, two years later. Their relationship was kept private for the initial years, with Eamonn Holmes avoiding public displays of affection and joint appearances to remain respectful to his ex-wife.

They married in 2010. However, friends have described their relationship as having deteriorated significantly, with disputes arising over the division of assets, including their former marital home and finances. The divorce proceedings are expected to proceed to the High Court later this year after settlement negotiations failed. A trial date has reportedly been set for November, with previous hearings having taken place in June and February.

The couple's assets are estimated to be worth around £10 million, with a potential £5 million subject to the trial. Their six-bedroom home in Weybridge, Surrey, purchased for £3.6 million 12 years ago and now valued higher, is reportedly a key point of contention. Eamonn Holmes moved out of the residence after the split in 2024 and is now residing in a penthouse apartment in Surrey, while Langsford has remained in their former home.
