Actor and comedian Russell Brand has arrived at Southwark Crown Court to face trial on charges of rape and sexual assault. Brand, 51, denies all allegations, which involve six women.
The trial commenced on October 12, 2026, in London.
Brand was arrested in August 2023 and subsequently charged in relation to incidents that allegedly occurred between 2004 and 2013. The charges were brought forward after a police investigation into a complaint made by a woman in 2023, which led to further allegations being made.
