Russell Brand Accused of 'Frenzied' and 'Violent' Sexual Assault in London Court

A woman who claims Russell Brand sexually assaulted her described the alleged attack as "frenzied" and "violent" in court Tuesday. Brand, 51, faces seven charges in the trial, including three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, and one of indecent assault. The allegations, made by six female complainants, span a 10-year period between 1999 and 2009. Brand denies all charges.

The fourth complainant testified that Brand allegedly sexually assaulted her at the Choice FM radio studios in central London in the mid-2000s. She told the jury that after she exited a small room, Brand approached her.

"He said 'aye aye'," she recounted. "He grabbed me by my face, started to kiss me, and when he was kissing me he started pushing me - his body against me."

The woman described the kiss as "sloppy" and "very, very rough." She testified that Brand ran his hands over her body while her back was against the wall. "His hands were all over me," she said. "He touched my bum, my breasts, his body was pressed up against me."

She stated that she pushed him away and swore at him. The woman alleged that several people were with Brand at the time but did not intervene. She testified that she had never met Brand before and believed he was in the building because he was associated with the Channel 4 show Big Brother's Big Mouth.

Describing the encounter, she said, "His whole body was pressed against me - the kisses were hard and sloppy and going down my neck. His hands were moving so much - the reason I used the word frenzied was because it was violent. He just wasn't stopping."

After the alleged assault, she said she felt "dirty," "shocked," "stunned," and "shaken," and that she "never told anybody."

During cross-examination, Brand's barrister questioned why those present did not raise concerns. The woman responded that it was "not the present-day environment" and that "it wasn't the culture where something happened to you and you tell people."

When asked why she did not go to the police at the time, she cited concerns about credibility, potential job loss, and mortgage payments, stating she "buried it for so long."

She came forward with the allegation after seeing a documentary about the TV star and his alleged behavior. Brand denies all charges, asserting that any sexual contact was consensual. The trial is ongoing.
