Charlotte Freud, granddaughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, is reportedly in a new relationship with New York-based actor and model Frederick Mariano. Freud, a 25-year-old music producer, was previously in a relationship with actor Isaak Presley.
Mariano, 31, is described as 6ft 4in and heavily tattooed, a characteristic shared by Freud, who also has tattoos. A source close to the couple stated that they met earlier this summer and are in the early stages of their relationship, describing them as "very loved up and seem like a perfect match."
The pair recently shared photos from an Italian getaway on Instagram, including images of them on a boat. Mariano has appeared in independent films such as the 2021 short "Letters from the War" and "Shy Guys: a Mafia Comedy."
Freud's past relationship with Presley, known for his roles in Netflix's "Fuller House" and the Disney Channel series "Stuck in the Middle," began in March 2025. They made their relationship public with a themed photoshoot but later separated in October of the same year, with the split described as mutual. Freud has since relocated to New York.
Prior to her relationship with Presley, Freud was married to British rapper Luke Storey. They married in July 2022, with her grandfather Rupert Murdoch attending the ceremony. However, the marriage ended abruptly, with Freud stating that her husband relapsed shortly after they were married. Their divorce was finalized 14 months after their wedding.
Freud, who performs under the name Tiarlie, has spoken about her earlier struggles with partying and drug use between the ages of 15 and 19, describing herself as the family's "trouble child" due to the pressures associated with her surname. She is the daughter of media executive Elisabeth Murdoch and PR mogul Matthew Freud, placing her within two prominent media families. She has also commented on the HBO series "Succession," stating it is "totally accurate" that the show is based on her family.
