Derek Richard Thomas, the ex-partner of Rumer Willis, has accused the actress of actively preventing him from spending time with their 3-year-old daughter, Louetta. According to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Thomas alleges that Willis, 38, has "done everything in her power to interfere, block and frustrate my relationship with Louetta."

Thomas also refuted previous allegations made by Willis that he had abused drugs while caring for their child. "I reject completely and without reservation Respondent’s claims concerning my alleged abuse of drugs, any conduct on my part that endangers Louetta, and any failure at efforts to cooperate with her and to co-parent Louetta," Thomas stated in the filing.

A representative for Willis did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Last June, Willis was granted primary physical custody of Louetta following accusations of domestic violence against Thomas. The ex-couple had initially agreed to a custody evaluation and joint custody, with Thomas being granted supervised visits every other weekend, which were intended to transition to unsupervised overnight visits. They were also ordered to attend co-parenting counseling and communicate via a designated platform.

The previous ruling came after Rumer Willis accused Thomas of "incessant domestic violence." In documents filed in May, she alleged a "persistent pattern" of "insane emotional abuse" occurring in front of their daughter. Willis claimed Thomas engaged in "ongoing coercive control through prolonged circular verbal attacks" and that she often felt she had to "walk on eggshells" around him. She stated that these attacks occurred daily and could last for more than six hours, with Thomas attempting to isolate her from friends and family and frequently calling her a liar. According to Willis, Thomas's alleged behavior left Louetta "traumatized" and "crying a lot."

Demi Moore, Rumer Willis's mother, also supported her daughter's claims in court documents. Moore alleged that Thomas "appears to want to dictate and control Rumer’s environment to his needs" and stated that she overheard him "berate and angrily complain to Rumer" shortly after their granddaughter was born in 2023.

Thomas has vehemently denied these allegations. He claimed that Rumer Willis threatened to "destroy" him on the day their daughter was born. The couple, who debuted their relationship in 2022, reportedly split two years later. Willis recently documented her move from Los Angeles to Nashville.
