Royals and Beckhams Converge at Star-Studded Film Premiere

Prince William and Princess Kate mingled with royalty and entertainment figures on Tuesday night at the premiere of Tom Cruise's latest film, "Digger." They were joined by David Beckham and his sons, Cruz and Romeo, at the event held at the Odeon Luxe in Leicester Square.

David Beckham, who received a knighthood from King Charles in November for his contributions to sport and charity, attended the Royal Film Performance with his two younger sons. His eldest son, Brooklyn, was notably absent.

Princess Kate captivated attendees in a flowing purple gown by Jenny Packham, complemented by the Queen Mother's amethyst necklace and pearl earrings belonging to Diana, Princess of Wales. Prince William appeared in a dapper tuxedo with a velvet evening jacket.

Tom Cruise, the star of "Digger," was seen escorting Princess Kate down the cinema steps. Cruise and the Prince of Wales have a prior connection, having collaborated on an event for the London Air Ambulance charity and previously met at the UK premiere of "Top Gun: Maverick." Cruise expressed his admiration for the Prince and Princess, stating, "I just love them. They are lovely people and I have great respect for them."

The premiere, hosted by Warner Bros. and benefiting the Film and TV Charity, included introductions to cast and creative team members, such as Riz Ahmed. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet beneficiaries of the charity, including Chloe Malone, who spoke about the organization's role in her life and thanked Prince William for his work against homelessness. Younger attendees, Evie Peters and Sahrae-Lea Herbert, presented the royals with programs.

"Digger" is a new satirical comedy film starring Cruise as Digger Rockwell.
