Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the men's singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, joining their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales. The siblings were observed in high spirits throughout the event, which saw Italy's Jannik Sinner defeat Germany's Alexander Zverev.

During the match, Prince George, 12, was seen pulling down his sun hat, an action that made his 11-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte, laugh heartily. To combat the day's heat, with temperatures reaching 29C (84F), Prince George also utilized a handheld fan. Princess Charlotte wore a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and a blue dress, accessorized with a bracelet from Ted Baker.

The royal children briefly left the Royal Box to retrieve sun hats. Their father, Prince William, appeared unfazed by the high temperatures. The future king held a handheld fan to keep cool as he watched the men's singles final George was seen entertaining his 11-year-old sister in the Royal Box by pulling down his hat Catherine was also amused by her eldest son pulling down his hat during the match on Sunday

British tennis player Arthur Fery, who reached the semi-finals, mentioned an ongoing connection with the Royal Family. Fery, who was beaten by Zverev in the semi-finals, stated that he had invited the Wales children to play tennis with him, noting that Princess Catherine had attended his matches and wished him well. He also mentioned that he would be watching the final on television.

The Princess of Wales previously congratulated Fery on his quarter-final win and has a history of attending Wimbledon finals. She presented the trophy to Jannik Sinner in the previous year's men's final and attended the 2025 women's final. The princess also attended the 2024 men's final while recovering from cancer treatments.

Other notable attendees at the men's final included Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Kidman. The women's singles final the previous day saw Linda Noskova win her first Wimbledon championship.
