Royal fans have noted the increasing heights of younger members of the British Royal Family, with Prince George, 12, now standing nearly as tall as his mother, the Princess of Wales. Official photographs from George's recent visit to RAF Coningsby show him at 175cm (approximately 5'8"), just shy of his father Prince William's reported height of 179cm (nearly 5'9") when he was 15.

Prince William, at 6'3" (190.5cm), is currently the tallest member of the Royal Family. Royal author Tina Brown noted in 'Palace Papers' that by age 16, William already possessed a significant height, being 6'1" (185.4cm).

Meanwhile, James, the Earl of Wessex, recently drew attention at the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling. At 18, James appeared to tower over his father, Prince Edward, who is believed to be 6'0" (182.8cm). James's height is estimated to be between 6'1" and 6'2" (185.4cm - 188cm), potentially matching Prince Harry's height.

Prince Harry is reported to be 6'2" (188cm), an inch shorter than his older brother. His height exceeds that of his father, King Charles, and his wife, Meghan Markle, who is 5'6" (167.6cm). The average height for men in the UK is around 5'10" (177.8cm).

Other notable heights within the family include former England rugby player Mike Tindall, who stands at 6'2" (188cm), making him one of the taller royals. Princess Margaret's grandson, Arthur Chatto, is also among the taller royals, estimated to be around 6'1" (185.4cm). Arthur is a member of the Royal Marines.

Prince Edward, at 6'0" (182.8cm), is taller than his older brother, King Charles. Peter Phillips, Princess Anne's son, also stands at 6'0" (182.8cm), taller than the average UK man. Princess Margaret's other grandson, Sam Chatto, is estimated to be around 5'11" (180.3cm).
