Rose Williams Stars as Honeypot Flora in HBO's 'War'

Rose Williams, a 32-year-old English actress, takes on the role of Flora Monroe in the new HBO series "War." In the show, Flora is depicted as a young woman who ensnares tech billionaire Martin Henderson, played by Dominic West, in a honeypot scheme orchestrated by his wife, Carla Duval, portrayed by Sienna Miller. The series focuses on the high-stakes divorce proceedings between Henderson and Duval, involving their respective law firms, Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne.

The first episode of "War" introduces Martin Henderson as he accepts an award for Zephyr, his social media company. He notices Flora in the audience, and later, she appears at his hotel. Their encounter is revealed to be a setup when Flora sends evidence of infidelity to Carla, who then instructs her lawyers to file for divorce and contest their prenuptial agreement. Williams' character, Flora, is instrumental in Carla's plan to claim half of Martin's fortune.

Williams has previously appeared in "Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris," "The Power," and "Reign." She may be best recognized for her role as Charlotte Heywood in the PBS Masterpiece series "Sanditon," an adaptation of Jane Austen's unfinished novel. "War" creator George Kay praised Williams' performance, telling DECIDER, "She's so talented, Rose, and she's really constructive and part of the conversation about how to storyline [Flora's plot]."

"War" is currently streaming on HBO Max. Rose Williams can be followed on Instagram at @rosevictoriawilliams.
