Rookie quarterback Cade Klubnik demonstrated strong ball placement and accuracy during the New York Jets' training camp practice on Thursday, drawing praise from head coach Aaron Glenn. Glenn noted Klubnik's performance, stating, "He made some throws today, didn’t he?"

Klubnik completed a tight spiral pass over a defender to Arian Smith and delivered a throw away from a defender for a catch by Jamaal Pritchett. In team drills, Klubnik was 6-for-7, and in 7-on-7 drills, he went 3-for-4.

In other camp news, the competition between kickers Cade York and Jason Sanders was close. York made all six of his attempts from 34, 36, 39, 42, 45, and 48 yards, while Sanders went 5-for-6, missing his longest attempt from 48 yards.

Running back Breece Hall fumbled the ball out of bounds after a long run and was subsequently replaced for the next rep by Braelon Allen. It remains unclear if Hall's substitution was a penalty or a routine rotation.

The team also reported injuries. Wide receivers Gee Scott Jr. (calf) and Jalen Walthall (hamstring) left practice with unspecified injuries. Defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat and outside linebacker Joseph Assai were seen leaving the facility during practice, with Sweat on the Non-Football Injury list and Assai on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Cornerback D’Angelo Ponds missed his second consecutive practice with a strained calf.
