Romesh Ranganathan Hints at 'Feud' With Fellow Celebrity Traitors Contestant

Comedian Romesh Ranganathan has suggested there was tension with one of his castmates during the filming of Celebrity Traitors, prompting online speculation about the individual's identity. Ranganathan, 48, who appeared in the castle alongside notable figures like Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, and Jerry Hall, revealed on his podcast, Wolf and Owl, that one player "didn't like his general vibe."

While Ranganathan did not name the person, he stated, "Sometimes people just don't like you and that's okay." This admission, shared on a Reddit thread, led fans to scrutinize his social media activity for clues. Several users noted that Ranganathan does not follow James Blunt, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Miranda Hart, and Richard E. Grant on Instagram, identifying them as potential candidates.

One fan observed that "James Blunt barely follows anyone but Romesh follows everyone in the cast except 4 people: James B, Julie, Miranda and Richard." Another commenter found it peculiar that Ranganathan doesn't follow Hesmondhalgh, given their shared connection to the quiz show The Weakest Link. The absence of active Instagram accounts for Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, and James Acaster led fans to rule them out as possibilities.

Fans also considered the possibility of Richard E. Grant, with one user suggesting they "never really talked." Ranganathan had previously expressed anxieties about interpersonal dynamics, admitting on his podcast, "I think to myself, 'I love you and the idea that they wouldn't like you feels really weird to me.' But the truth is that there are some people whose personality just rubs people up the wrong way."

In a recent episode of Celebrity Traitors, Ranganathan narrowly avoided elimination when his friend Rob Beckett was killed off. Reflecting on Beckett's departure, Ranganathan commented, "It's sad but you've got to look at the positive of these things, Rob's not here." He added, "I feel like I let Rob Beckett down because he is so unthreatening he was never going to get banished so he is the guy we should have given the key to and he is also one of my best friends. I'm sad, it's not going to be the same without him."
