Romesh Ranganathan Hints at 'Feud' During Celebrity Traitors Stint

Celebrity Traitors star Romesh Ranganathan has suggested he experienced a "feud" with one of his co-stars, prompting speculation among fans who are trying to identify the individual. Ranganathan, 48, appeared in the popular series alongside a cast that included Richard E. Grant, Michael Sheen, and Jerry Hall.

During an episode of his podcast, "Wolf and Owl," Ranganathan shared with his friend Tom Davies that a particular contestant did not appreciate his "general vibe." He did not name the individual but commented that "sometimes people just don't like you and that's okay."

Following the broadcast of these remarks, users on Reddit began dissecting the clues. Several fans noted that Ranganathan does not follow James Blunt, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Miranda Hart, or Richard E. Grant on Instagram, suggesting a potential disconnect with these cast members. One user pointed out that Blunt follows very few people, but Ranganathan's following habits were distinct among the cast.

Other cast members like Michael Sheen, Bella Ramsey, and James Acaster were largely ruled out as suspects because they do not maintain active Instagram accounts. The possibility of Richard E. Grant being the individual in question was also raised by a user who felt they "never really talked."

Ranganathan had previously expressed concerns that not all his fellow celebrities would get along with him during their time in the castle. He elaborated on his podcast that while he personally likes everyone, the reality is that "there are some people whose personality just rubs people up the wrong way."

He further reflected on the tendency to question why someone might not like you, even after being "so nice," concluding that "they just don't vibe with you."

In a recent episode of the show, Ranganathan narrowly avoided elimination, with his friend Rob Beckett becoming the latest contestant to be "murdered." Upon learning of Beckett's departure, Ranganathan expressed sadness but also acknowledged the practical aspect of the game, noting that his friend was no longer present. He later told the camera that he felt he had let Beckett down, believing Beckett's unthreatening nature made him an ideal candidate for a "mole" with a key, and that his absence would change the dynamic of the show.
