Sir Rod Stewart, 81, and his wife Penny Lancaster, 55, made a glamorous appearance at the premiere of "The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping" in London on Wednesday.

The couple, who have been married since 2007, joined fellow stars such as Glenn Close and Elle Fanning on the red carpet at Westfield.

Stewart sported a black suit jacket with embellishments, while Lancaster wore a purple aztec dress paired with a leather blazer.

"The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping," a prequel to the popular franchise, is scheduled for release in cinemas on November 20.

Earlier this month, Stewart provided an update on his health following a recent procedure to fit a coronary stent for an underlying heart issue. When asked about his well-being at the Sinatra The Musical event, Stewart responded enthusiastically, stating he was "F****** brilliant!" and added that he recently swam 400 meters.

Last month, the singer announced his retirement from touring, confirming that his "The Final Encore" dates next year would mark the end of his performing career after six decades. He described the upcoming 21-date European tour, which begins in Dublin on April 23 and concludes in Hannover on July 24, as his "last rock and roll tour."

Stewart had previously been forced to shorten his "One Last Time" farewell tour in the U.S. earlier this year due to the heart surgery. He had also canceled several shows in June after experiencing an acute upper respiratory infection, laryngitis, and vocal strain, and was advised to rest for at least four weeks following the heart procedure.
