Rochelle Humes, a former singer from The Saturdays, recently showcased her style at Copenhagen Fashion Week, drawing attention to her personal life as well. Humes, 37, was photographed at the Stine Goya Studio runway show wearing a colorful string bralette by Nafsika Skouri, which featured tubular piping, embroidered crystals, and a multicolor tassel hem. She paired the top with black balloon trousers and red heeled boots.
Amidst her fashion week attendance, Humes shared that her 13-year-old daughter, Alaia-Mai, aspires to be a content creator. This ambition comes as the UK government plans to introduce a ban on social media for individuals under 16. Alaia-Mai is scheduled to undertake a week of work experience on her mother's social media account. Humes remarked on the irony of her daughter's aspirations given the impending restrictions.
Alaia-Mai's career aspirations align with those of other young figures, including Harper Beckham, Venezuela Fury, Scarlett Thomas, and Princess Andre, who are also pursuing careers in social media. The proposed UK government measures, expected in the spring of next year, aim to restrict access to platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, and X for those under 16. Additionally, 16 and 17-year-olds will be subject to nightly curfews on social media access from midnight to 6 a.m., and features designed to prolong user engagement will be disabled by default for this age group.
Earlier in the week, Humes had also commented on recovering from celebrations for her sister Lili's 30th birthday in Ibiza, an event that included a private jet, a yacht trip, and gifts. She described the weekend as a champagne-fueled trip with her sisters, Lili and Sophie, and her husband, Marvin Humes, noting that while the years might be the best, the hangovers were the worst. The group celebrated at Lio nightclub in Ibiza, with Humes wearing a bright blue dress from Jaded London and embellished heels.
