Roblox Widow Claims Father-in-Law Was Wife Murderer, Threatened Her

Marianne Flippo, the widow of a Roblox programmer who claims she was defrauded of $6 million, has revealed a disturbing family detail: her father-in-law was a convicted murderer.

According to court-filed transcripts, Flippo made the disclosure during a confrontation with her attorney and Greggory Starr, the male escort she accuses of exploiting her after her husband's suicide. Flippo stated that her husband's father, identified as James Michael Flippo, was a pastor who "bludgeoned to death his wife, Cheryl, in a remote state-park cabin back in 1996."

Flippo also alleged that her father-in-law had threatened her life. She reportedly invoked this history to assert her fearlessness toward Starr, telling her attorney, "I slept in the same house with him. He’d already murdered his wife. I had to sleep under the same roof with him and he had already threatened to murder me… I’m not afraid."

Flippo, 49, is seeking millions from Starr, whom she accuses of manipulating her following the death of her husband, a wealthy Roblox programmer. The details emerged during legal proceedings in Manhattan Supreme Court.
