Robert Wagner Shares Rare Photo with Natalie Wood's Daughter Natasha

Actor Robert Wagner, 96, recently shared a rare photograph with Natasha Gregson Wagner, the eldest daughter of his late wife, Natalie Wood. The image was posted to celebrate Natasha’s 56th birthday on September 29.

In the picture, Natasha, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother, is seen smiling next to Wagner at a restaurant. Wagner, dressed in a suit jacket, also appears to be smiling. He captioned the post with a heartfelt birthday wish for Natasha, expressing his and his current wife Jill St. John's pride in her.

Wood had Natasha with her first husband, producer Richard Gregson, in 1970. Wagner legally adopted Natasha after Wood's death in 1981.

Wagner and Wood were married twice, first from 1957 to 1962, and again from 1972 until Wood's death. They had a daughter together, Courtney, born in 1974. Wagner also has a daughter, Katie, from his second marriage to Marion Marshall.

Natalie Wood tragically died at the age of 43 in 1981. Her death, initially ruled an accident, was later reclassified by a coroner in 2012 to include "other undetermined factors." The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department investigated her death, naming Wagner a person of interest in 2018. However, in May 2022, the department cleared him, stating all leads had been exhausted and the case remained open and unsolved.

Wood's sister, Lana Wood, has publicly stated her belief that Wagner was responsible for Natalie's death, though she suggested it was not premeditated. Natasha, who was 11 when her mother died, has spoken about receiving support from both Gregson and Wagner during that difficult period.
