Robbie Williams has reportedly sold a Swiss mansion for £14.7 million, resulting in a loss of approximately £11.9 million from his original purchase price. The pop superstar acquired the estate in Vandoeuvres, near Geneva, in December 2020 for £26.6 million from businessman Nicolas Brunschwig.

The deal was reportedly sealed informally, without the involvement of lawyers or estate agents, after the two men played a round of golf. Williams had plans for extensive renovations, including a new swimming pool, but he ultimately abandoned the project and purchased a different property in Gstaad.

The Vandoeuvres property was placed back on the market in 2022 but remained unsold for several years. Swiss property insiders have described the sale as "catastrophic," with one noting the inflated price paid at the time and suggesting that the absence of an estate agent contributed to the poor outcome. The mansion was part of a larger estate that Brunschwig had divided, retaining one-third for himself.

A representative for Williams declined to comment on the sale.
