Robbie Williams has addressed viral accusations of cocaine use at the World Cup, stating that he believes it would not be a significant issue if he had relapsed. The singer, 52, was performing at the football final when observers noticed a white substance fall from his nostril onto a microphone.

Williams initially explained the incident as Nicorette chewing gum falling from his mouth. However, during a recent public appearance at the launch of his clothing brand, Hopeium, he commented on the controversy. "Can I clear something up I didn't relapse with cocaine at the World Cup the internet will be sure that coke fell out of my nose but it wasn't it was Nicorette," he stated. He added that the public reaction suggested that "if I was on coke would it be a problem, who f***ing cares?"

Williams also discussed his ongoing struggles with addiction, explaining how his focus has shifted to fashion. "I can't do cocaine, I can't do MDMA, I can't drink so where does the addiction go. And it's gone into clothes and fashion, it's incredibly serious," he said.

Additionally, Williams revealed he has been diagnosed with autism and previously shared that he has ADHD. He described his autism diagnosis as a "get-out-of-jail-free card," using it to explain his behavior. "I have ADHD and I just found out I have a bit of autism as well, which I actually f****** love because it explains so much," he said. He also spoke about managing his conditions by channeling his creativity into making images and "funny things," as a way to mitigate intrusive thoughts that can cause panic or fear.

Williams has previously shared that he has been diagnosed with ADHD multiple times and also revealed a secret diagnosis of Tourette syndrome. He has a history of addiction battles and has undergone multiple stints in rehabilitation for alcohol and drug use.
