Rob Beckett Celebrates Romesh Ranganathan's "Celebrity Traitors" Victory

Comedian Rob Beckett has publicly celebrated his friend Romesh Ranganathan's win on "Celebrity Traitors." Ranganathan and his fellow contestant Sebastian Croft were crowned champions in the show's finale after successfully banishing all of the remaining Traitors.

Beckett, who was eliminated early in the series after being "murdered" by the Traitors, had vowed that Ranganathan would carry on and win the show in his honor. Following their victory, Beckett took to Instagram Stories to congratulate Ranganathan and Croft, sharing a picture of the pair with the caption: "Yes lads!"

During the series, after his "death," Beckett humorously stated that he was a "dead man" but expressed confidence that Ranganathan would "avenge my death and he will get them."

When Beckett's elimination was revealed, Ranganathan expressed sadness, telling the camera, "I feel like I let Rob Beckett down because he is so unthreatening he was never going to get banished." He added that it "is not going to be the same without him."

Host Claudia Winkleman quipped about Beckett's departure, saying, "You could say Beckett has kicked the bucket."

Viewers applauded Ranganathan and Croft for outsmarting the Traitors, who included Maya Jama and King Kenny. James Acaster, another Traitor, revealed his identity in a moment of stress during a prior episode.

Ranganathan and Croft each received £41,500 for their chosen charities: the Refugee Council for Ranganathan and Choose Love for Croft. Ranganathan expressed pride in his win, stating, "I just really hope my mum is proud."

He also highlighted his bond with Croft, noting, "I think my biggest highlight is making a friend in Bash - relying on the fact that I thought he was a friend in that end game and that paying off, that is something I feel really good about."

Sebastian Croft described the win as "incredible" and potentially "the best day of my life." He shared that a key moment was when Ranganathan used the word "Faithful" and the subsequent embrace they shared.

The duo celebrated their victory with host Claudia Winkleman and other finalists outside Ardross Castle, raising a glass around the fire pit.
