Ned Donovan, grandson of renowned author Roald Dahl, and his fiancée, US TikToker Megan Tomlin, recently chose a registry of contemporary luxuries for their wedding. The couple, both 32, tied the knot at Babington House, a private members' club in Somerset, England.
Their wedding gift list departed from traditional offerings like silver and china, instead featuring modern items such as a £300 Ooni pizza oven and a £112 waffle maker. Guests were also directed toward an £810 Wuesthof knife set and a £138 personalized Tricia Lowenfield ceramic ice bucket. Other items on the registry included a £281 handmade rattan tray and an £82 ceramic oval platter from Odd McClean. A Cuisinart Sandwich Maker, priced at £22, and the Juliska Provence napkin ring set in basil, costing £86, were also listed.
Donovan, a journalist who transitioned to a career as a police officer in the United States, was previously married to Princess Raiyah of Jordan. Among the wedding guests were Donovan's half-sister, author Sophie Dahl, and his godfather, Sir Nicholas Coleridge.
