Rita Ora Sued by Former Manager for £3.2 Million

Singer Rita Ora is facing a lawsuit from her former manager, Sarah Stennett, who claims the artist owes her firm £3.2 million in unpaid earnings. The legal action, filed at the High Court, alleges that Ora failed to hand over a percentage of her income from tours and television work.

Stennett's firm, FAE Ventures, asserts that Ora, who began working with Stennett in 2009 when she was 18, violated contract terms. According to The Sun, the largest underpayment claim is over £1.7 million, with FAE Ventures alleging "impermissible deductions" for professional services such as advertising, accountancy, and insurance.

Another claim of £1.1 million relates to alleged unreporting of touring income during the spring of 2019 and 2020, a period when Ora was on her Phoenix World Tour. Court documents state that payments to FAE "failed to take account of certain touring income which the defendant had received (or which was received on her behalf) during that period."

Ora and Stennett parted ways in 2024, with reports at the time suggesting a disagreement over the direction of the singer's career. Following her departure from FAE Ventures, Ora signed with Range Media Partners, reportedly aiming to focus on a broader range of ventures beyond just singing.

Ora has been active in various projects, including upcoming film roles in Amazon MGM's "Honeymoon with Harry" and the "Voltron" movie. She is also reprising her role as the Queen of Hearts in Disney's "Descendants: Wicked Wonderland" and co-founding the haircare company TYPEBEA. She has also teased new music, with her fourth studio album slated for a 2027 release.
