Rita Ora Faces Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit From Former Manager

Singer Rita Ora is embroiled in a legal battle with her former manager, Sarah Stennett, who is suing the artist for approximately £3.2 million. The lawsuit, filed at the High Court, alleges that Ora failed to hand over a portion of her earnings from tours and television work.

Stennett, founder of FAE Ventures, claims that Ora violated contract terms by not paying the agreed-upon percentage of her income. The dispute reportedly stems from disagreements over the direction of Ora's career, leading to their split in 2024 after a professional relationship spanning since 2009.

According to reports, the largest underpayment claim exceeds £1.7 million, with FAE Ventures asserting that impermissible deductions were made for professional services such as advertising, accountancy, and insurance. An additional claim of £1.1 million relates to alleged unreported touring income between spring 2019 and 2020 during Ora's Phoenix World Tour.

The legal documents state that FAE Ventures claims payments did not account for certain touring income received by Ora or on her behalf during that period. Representatives for both Sarah Stennett and Rita Ora have not yet responded to requests for comment.

Earlier this week, Ora made headlines for her fashion choices at amfAR's London gala, where she appeared in an oversized cropped blazer and a distinctive headpiece. She was accompanied by Kelly Osbourne, who wore a black off-the-shoulder gown. The event, held at The Chancery Rosewood, supported HIV/Aids research and coincided with the Frieze Art Fair and BFI London Film Festival. Ora's appearance followed her support for husband Taika Waititi at the premiere of his new film, "Klara And The Sun," at the BFI London Film Festival the previous evening, where she also sported a notable headpiece.
