The singer and her children attended A$AP Rocky's performance in Paris, weeks after a shooting incident at their Los Angeles home.
Rihanna was present at the Accor Arena in Paris to support A$AP Rocky during his performance on Wednesday evening, accompanied by their two sons, RZA, four, and Riot, three.
Rihanna was observed carrying her eldest son, RZA, while heading to their seats. During the show, she was seen with the younger son, Riot, and documented the family outing on her phone. Rihanna's mother, Monica Braithwaite, also joined them for the concert, which was part of A$AP Rocky's Don't Be Dumb World Tour and coincided with the AWGE fashion show. The singer, dressed in a white shirt, black leather jacket, leggings, and sunglasses, has been in Paris attending various Fashion Week events.
This public appearance follows a period of heightened security concerns for the family. In June, A$AP Rocky spoke with Vibe magazine about a March 8 incident at their Beverly Hills home, describing it as a traumatic event where someone attempted to harm him and his family. He stated that the attack, which involved an AR-15-style rifle, disrupted their sense of peace and safety.
The suspect in the shooting, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, and has pleaded not guilty to all charges. A$AP Rocky, whose legal name is Rakim Mayers, expressed his desire not to have his peace and joy taken away.
In the same interview, A$AP Rocky discussed his approach to fatherhood, emphasizing the importance of being emotionally present and available to his children. He aims to raise his children, including their daughter Rocki, to be humble and disciplined, contrasting with the immense wealth he believes they did not grow up with. He stated his goal is to prevent them from being perceived as 'nepo babies' as they mature.
Rihanna recently shared glimpses of their youngest child, Rocki, on Instagram, posting videos and photos of her daughter in various outfits and engaging in activities like playing with makeup. While Rocki was not seen at the Paris concert, her mother previously shared a moment of Rocki wearing a wig and playing with Rihanna's Fenty Beauty products.
