Ricky Hatton's former five-bedroom home has been sold for £1.5 million, a reduction of £350,000 from its original asking price.

The detached property, located in Gee Cross, Greater Manchester, was initially listed for £1.85 million shortly before the former world champion's death in September 2025. It was later taken off the market following his passing at the age of 46.

The house was relisted with a revised price of £1.75 million, then £1.65 million, before ultimately selling for £1.5 million earlier this year, according to land registry documents.

Hatton's body was discovered in the home's games room by his manager, Paul Speak. However, the property's description by estate agents focused on its luxury features, calling it a 'landmark modern residence offering luxury, space and unrivalled lifestyle features.'

The home, built in 2010, includes six bathrooms, a leisure suite with a heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi, a private gym, and a cinema room. The games room also features a bar with a glass wall overlooking the pool.

Other features include multiple reception rooms, open-plan living spaces, and a high-specification dark-panelled kitchen. Hatton had personalized the property with a telephone box in the garden and memorabilia from his beloved Manchester City, including seats from their former ground, Maine Road.

The estate is situated in a prestigious location and includes advanced security features such as CCTV and intercom access.

The sale occurs amid reports of a dispute among Hatton's family regarding the distribution of his estimated £40 million estate.
