Ricki Lake, 57, celebrated the two-year anniversary of her facelift by sharing before-and-after photos on Instagram. The actress underwent a deep plane lower face and neck lift, along with a mild CO2 laser treatment, in 2024.
Lake posted a series of images, including snapshots taken in the doctor's office and selfies taken after her recovery. She revealed that Beverly Hills-based surgeon Dr. Allen Foulad performed the procedure, describing him as "incredibly talented and kind." According to Lake, Foulad "made the experience a wonderful one and my results have been remarkable, natural and long-lasting."
The decision to undergo surgery came after Lake experienced significant weight loss. "Back in 2023, I had lost 40 lbs over the course of a year, and did not like the extra skin that hung from below my chin," she explained in her caption. "It was never going to tighten up by itself."
Lake also expressed her approval of the increasing transparency surrounding cosmetic surgery procedures among public figures. She noted that the most recent photos she shared were taken without makeup or filters, highlighting the lasting nature of her results.
This is not the first time Lake has publicly discussed her cosmetic surgery. Last year, she shared a similar post to commemorate the one-year anniversary of her facelift, calling it "one of the best decisions I ever made for myself."
Lake has previously been open about her weight loss journey, detailing her diet and exercise regimen, which included a keto diet, intermittent fasting, daily hikes with a weighted vest, and Pilates.
