Rick Ross Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Rapper Rick Ross was arrested in Florida on Thursday and faces charges of domestic violence, including battery by strangulation and battery. He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.

Miami-Dade jail records indicate Ross was booked at 6:10 a.m. He is being held on a combined bond of $6,000 for the charges, with $5,000 for battery by strangulation and $1,000 for battery. His arraignment is scheduled for October 22.

Details regarding whether Ross's arrest is connected to recent abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick, have not been immediately confirmed. Kendrick had previously accused Ross of physical abuse.
