Richie Incognito Mocks Chargers with Fiery Social Media Post After Raiders Victory

Former NFL offensive lineman Richie Incognito added insult to injury for the Los Angeles Chargers following their 26–14 defeat at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders. Incognito shared a social media post featuring an AI-generated image that depicted the Chargers' home stadium, SoFi Stadium, engulfed in flames.

The accompanying image showed a pirate ship with Raiders sails sailing away, captioned with "JUST WON BABY." Incognito, who played his final three NFL seasons with the Raiders from 2019 to 2022, has a history of controversial behavior, including an infamous bullying scandal in 2013 that led to an independent investigation finding he engaged in a pattern of harassment against then-Miami Dolphins teammate Jonathan Martin. His post is unlikely to endear him to the Chargers organization, as the team faces significant challenges early in its season.
