Richard Madeley, host of "Good Morning Britain," playfully chided his co-host and weather presenter, Laura Tobin, for her tardiness on Monday morning. The show was preparing to transition to the weather segment when Madeley noticed Tobin was absent from the studio.

"We have a vanishing weather girl," Madeley remarked, prompting a surprised gasp from co-presenter Ranvir Singh. "Laura is supposed to be here to do the weather… echoing silence!"

Singh attempted to maintain composure, suggesting Tobin would appear shortly. Tobin eventually arrived, admitting she had briefly gone to the restroom during a commercial break. "I just nipped to the loo, now everyone knows," she said.

This incident echoed a similar occurrence from the previous week when presenter Kate Garraway was caught attempting to re-enter the "Good Morning Britain" studio after a mistimed break. While Garraway was interviewing guests about their appearance on "Celebrity Hunted," she had to sneak back onto the set. Upon her return, Garraway apologized, attributing her delay to taking too long in the shower, followed by laughter.

Madeley's lighthearted comment about Tobin's lateness comes amid a period of significant dry weather in the UK, with several areas experiencing drought conditions. Some parts of England have not recorded rainfall in 43 days, and temperatures have recently reached 34 degrees Celsius. Seven areas, including London and Hertfordshire where the "Good Morning Britain" offices are located, have been officially designated as being in drought.
